World Class Instruction at FJM Clinics
The FJM Clinic Staff brings instructional and performance experience from the nations top college and high school marching bands, drum corps, winter guards, dance teams, and twirling lines. We recruit and employ talented performers and instructors from organizations such as The Cavaliers, The Glassmen, Northeast Independent, Blessed Sacrament, Zydeco, Northern Lights, Pride of Cincinnati, the University of Arizona, Louisiana State University, the University of Nebraska, Purdue University, The Ohio State University, the University of Cincinnati, the University of Notre Dame, Bowling Green State University, and the University of Miami (Ohio).
Each clinic is run by a clinic administrator with an extensive background in education, leadership, and pageantry instruction. With a combined 30 years of FJM clinic experience, our three administrators hold bachelors and masters degrees in education, psychology, communication, music, and school counseling.
You simply will not find a more highly qualified and well trained instructional staff!

SARA SHUMAKER
Sara was a featured twirler at Shawnee High School for 4 years. Not only has Sara taken dance for 15 years, she is a former member of the Gary Geis Dance Company. Sara is currently attending the University of Akron and is a member of the University of Akron Dance Company. Sara also participates as a feature twirler for the University of Akron Marching Band. Sara is from Springfield, Ohio.

KELLY JO ZINK
Kelly Jo twirled for 4 years at St. Mary’s High School where she was captain and has won two WTA National Titles. Kelly Jo attends Wittenberg College where she is majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Dance. Currently, Kelly Jo is the president of Wittenberg Dance company. Kelly Jo is from St. Mary;s Ohio.

KANDALYN STEVENSON
Kandalyn is from Belle Center, Ohio and attends Urbana University where she is majoring in secondary education. She performed with Benjamin Logan high school, Razz-M-Tazz competition team and was a member of the BGSU twirling line. Kandalyn received 1st place at twirl mania and nationals. Currently she is the director for floor corp at Razz-M-Tazz where she has held the position for four years.

ABBY MOORE
Abby is a graduate of Purdue University and is currently working on her masters at Wright State University in School Counseling. She was the 21st Golden Girl for the Purdue Marching band and captain for the twirling line. She has performed at the Rose Bowl, Outback Bowl, Sun Bowl, Indianapolis 500, and halftime at Bulls and Pacer basketball games. Abby worked with the Blue Devils Winter guard, Centerville High School fall and winter guards, and is the director the Centerville High School “A” Guard. Abby is from Kettering, Ohio.

LEAH WOODLAND
Leah is attending the University of Arizona where she is majoring in Communications. She was the twirler and guard section leader for the Millard West Marching Band and is a twirler for the University of Arizona Pride Marching Band. She was a member and instructor for Sue’s Stepper-ettes. Leah is from Omaha, Nebraska.

DANIELLE HENRY
Danielle is from New Philadelphia, Ohio. She performed with Kaleidoscope winter guard for four years as well as the New Philadelphia High School color guard. Additionally, Danielle was a member of the QT dance team. She currently attends Ohio University where she is majoring in Sports Medicine and Dance.

BETSY WONSETLER
Betsy hails from Valparaiso Indiana and is currently attending the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. There she is studying pre-physical therapy, nutrition fitness and health promotion as well as minoring in dance and German. She was a squad leader for the Valparaiso Vikettes and is currently the Dance Captain for the UNL’s “Big Red Singers”, and a member of the UNL’s Dance Division and Scarlets dance team.

LAUREN BALLARD.
Lauren is a resident of Huber Heights, Ohio and attends Sinclair Community College majoring in Visual Communication. She was the captain of Wayne High School Warriorettes and has been involved in competition dance for six years. Lauren has also been a stage dancer for the Backstreet Boys during the 2006 NFL ProBowl, and also choreographed for the Alter High School Dance Team.

PATRICK LEOMBRONE
Patrick is a graduate of Nazareth College of Rochester, receiving his degree in European History. He has marched with the East Syracuse-Minoa Winter Guard and Marching Band as well as Empire World Class Winter Guard. He has taught Clinton Winter Guard and currently, Patrick is teaching Shenendahowa winter guard. Patrick is from Kirkville, New York.

FRED BENNECKE
Fred currently attends St. Johns River Community College majoring in Art, Psychology and minoring in dance. Fred has performed with the Sebasian Middle School Guard, was the captain of St. Augustine H.S Coast One Winter guard and Northeast Independent Winter Guard. He also taught Murray Middle School, St. Augustine Jacket Guard, and many middle and high school winter guards in Florida. Fred Resides in St. Augustine, Florida.

Terry was a member of the Cheshire High School color guard and was dance captain at CHSWG. She is also a member of the Blessed Sacrament Winter Guard. She is attending the University of Connecticut and majoring in Business Management. Terry is from Cheshire, Connecticut.

Nicole has been a member of Onyx, Studio Tucee, Independence and Velocity Winter Guards. Nicole was in Pioneer and Emerald Drum and Bugle Corps and was also on staff for Pioneer. Nicole is from Miamisburg, Ohio.

Matt is attending the Art Institute of Portland where is majoring in interior design. Matt has performed with, Pomona High School winter guard, Signature winter guard, the Cavalier’s drum corp, and the winter guard Northern Lights. Matt is from Portland, Oregon.

LINDSEY GRAY
Lindsey is from Englewood, Ohio. She was a member of the Northmont High School color and winter guards and has also danced at the Margarete Lieber School of dance. Lindsey works with the Northmont Junior Guard.

Erin is from Miamisburg, Ohio. She is attending Kent State University where she is majoring in Architecture. She was a member of the Miamisburg Winter guard.

Sheldon is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a degree in Mathematics/Computer Engineering. He has marched with the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, and the Pride of Cincinnati Winter Guard. He has worked with Zydeco Winter Guard, Bellbrook H.S fall guard and winter guard and was the director for the Carroll H.S winter guard this past winter. Sheldon currently resides in Centerville, Ohio.

Elena attends Ball State University where she is majoring in Actuarial Science. She has performed with the Miamisburg High School World Winter Guard for four years. Elena is from Miamisburg, Ohio.

Brittany attends Wright State University where she is majoring in nursing. She performed with the color guard at Carlisle High School for six years. Brittany is from Franklin, Ohio.

ANNA STEPHENS
Anna is from Bellbrook, Ohio. She is attending Wright State University where she is majoring in Music Education. As a saxophone and trombone player, Anna was a member of the Bellbrook Marching Band and Jazz Band. Additionally, she was a participant in the Indoor percussion ensemble. Anna was also the drum major at Bellbrook for two years.

Tom is from Bellbrook, Ohio and performed with the Bellbrook marching eagles for three years, serving as drum major for one year. Tom will be attends Ohio State University where he is majoring in Business Administration and Marketing.

RYAN O’MALLEY
Ryan, from New Orleans, Louisiana, is currently attending Louisiana State University majoring in accounting. He was the drum major for Jesuit High School Blue Jay marching Band in 2004 and 2005. Ryan is also a member of the All-American Louisiana State University Golden Band from Tigerland.

MARYBETH WILLEY
Marybeth comes to us from Centerville, Ohio. She attends Miami University where she is majoring in Music Education. She has performed with the Centerville Jazz Band where she was section leader and drum major. Marybeth was also a member of the Centerville winter percussion line. Currently, she is the Drum Major for the University of Miami marching band.

ROBERT BARRETT
Rob is from Tucson, Arizona and is a graduate of the University of Arizona where he received his degree in music education. While attending the University of Arizona, Rob was the drum major for the marching band as well as a teaching assistant for U of A marching band and pep bands. He currently is teaching elementary school music in the Tucson Unified School District.

Kevin attends the University Of Cincinnati where he is studying Biological Sciences. Kevin was the drum major of Lakota East Marching Band and the 2005 All State Jazz pianist. Kevin is from Liberty Township, Ohio.

JEFFREY DELMAN
Jeffrey is a graduate of Capital University Conservatory of Music where he earned a degree in Music Education. He was the field commander for Kettering Fairmont High School marching band and a section leader for the Columbus Youth Chorale. Additionally, Jeffrey is section leader and music team member for the Alliance Chorus of Greater Central Ohio and head director of the Capital Chapel Choir. Jeffrey has recently been named the head choir director for Conroe High School in Austin TX.

Patrick is attending the University of Notre Dame where he is majoring in Political Science. He was the drum major for Notre Dame Cathedral Latin School Marching Band where he also served as saxophone section leader. Patrick is from Chardon, Ohio.

Bo is attending Bowling Green State University where is majoring in Music Education. He marched with the Shawnee High School Marching band and is a member of the Bowling Green Falcon Marching band and the Wind Ensemble. He was a member and also served as the drum major for the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps. Bo is from Lima, Ohio.

Nicole is attending Bowling Green State University majoring in Vocal and Instrumental Music Education with Piano Performance. She was a member of her high school Show Choir, Pep Band, Symphonic Band, and Marching Band where she served as the drum major for two years. Nicole is from Wauseon, Ohio.

LAUREN COROS
Lauren is originally from Valparaiso, Indiana. She currently resides in Indianapolis where she is an English teacher at Center Grove Middle School. Lauren also serves as the cheerleading coach. While earning her degree at Purdue University, Lauren was a member of the Golduster Dance Line for 4 years, serving at the captain for 2 years.

CLINT FISHER
Clint comes to us from Springfield, Ohio. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton where he double majored in Music and English. He received his masters from UD in School Counseling. He marched for Onyx world as well as the gold medalist Pride of Cincinnati. Clint has taught at Carlisle High School, Heritage High School and currently he teaches Lakota West High School fall and winter guard. He has been involved with FJM Clinics for 10 years.
